Biophys:  Human intent as it affects health

Human intent in health is a mysterious topic.  There has been documented cases of placebo effect that the patient believe they are taking the real medication and their conditions improved or cured.  This is just one example of human intentions.  If the patient has a unshakable faith in the doctor or their medications,  there is a high chance that with such intentions their conditions improves.  Back in the ancient time, there are numerous shamanic healings in all civilizations or indigenous culture,  their practice back then may view as irrational, barbaric, uneducated, or unscientific, but many have been cured through these rituals, or ceremonies.   Was it the power of the shamans,  power of the ritual, simply lucky, coincidence or was it human intent?   You be the judge.
